Hospice of Morongo Basin is a Volunteer Hospice, founded in 1982 as part of the nationwide grassroots movement to improve care of the dying. Hospice treats the dying person as a whole person and the patient and family as the unit of care. Hospice does not provide care towards a cure, but aggressively treats the symptoms that accompany the dying process. The major focus is on pain control and symptom management, also known as comfort care. Hospice care also addresses the emotional, social, psychological, and spiritual needs of the patient and family.

Dynamic Nursing Education provides quality nursing continuing education courses that have been created and designed by experienced professionals in the healthcare field. The information found in the Nursing CE courses are evidenced based, and structured to assure that the participant gains new theories and skills that will assist in improving the delivery of high quality patient care.
